Modulight has introduced FiberLight, a fiber-coupled laser module for use in medical, industrial, defense and research applications. The device can embed the company’s high-power laser arrays, which range from 635 to 1550 nm and from 3 to 35 W. The module is offered in conduction- and water-cooled versions. The baseline output fiber has a core diameter of 365 μm and is terminated by an SMA connector.
