The QDI 2010 UV-VIS-NIR microspectrometer from Craic Technologies offers an expanded measurement range that permits one-button capture of deep-UV, visible and near-IR transmission, absorbance, reflectance, emission and fluorescence spectra. The instrument, which offers a sample size from submicron to >100 μm, enables users to observe via eyepieces or a high-resolution digital imager. Combining UV microscopy and microspectroscopy, it can locate and identify contaminants nondestructively. Applications include semiconductor and flat panel manufacturing, forensic science, photonics, and DNA and organic chemistry research.
