Heason Technology Ltd.’s OFXY open-frame X-Y tables combine high-resolution ceramic motors from Nanomotion and supercompact TONic encoders from Renishaw plc in a compact design that provides a large working through-aperture with submicron-resolution positioning. The three models provide >1-μm repeatability and 200-mm/s scanning performance, with X and Y travel of 50, 100 or 200 mm in a three-piece design with dual precision cross-roller bearings for maximum load and high stiffness. They offer users a clear working area of up to 50 × 50 mm on the largest stage when extended to its furthermost X-Y travel position. The tables are aimed at vision, optical and beamline system applications in metrology, quality inspection and nondestructive testing.
