The Dual-Adapt light source adapter for microscopes, manufactured by CoolLED, allows two light sources to be fitted simultaneously to the epifluorescence port of a microscope. A mechanical switch moves a mirror to select the light source that the user desires, so no physical changes to the setup are necessary. It also is possible to replace the mirror with a dichroic filter and to have eight LED excitation wavelengths fitted to the microscope at the same time.
