BristolInst.jpgThe 721 series laser spectrum analyzers from Bristol Instruments Inc. combine Michelson interferometer-based technology with digital processing to perform wavelength and spectral characterization of continuous-wave and high-repetition-rate pulsed lasers that operate from 1.3 to 11 μm. Absolute laser wavelength is measured to an accuracy of ±0.2 parts per million (±0.001 nm at 5 μm), and the spectrum is determined to 2-GHz resolution. A built-in wavelength standard provides continuous calibration, and a high-speed USB interface transfers spectral information to a PC operating under Windows Vista or XP.
