Vapor-degreaser solvents
AMARILLO, Texas, May 11, 2009 – Techspray has announced a line of solvent cleaners that offer new options for vapor degreasing. Precision-V cleaners leave no residue, evaporate quickly and are nonflammable with no flash point. They quickly and thoroughly clean electronics, optics and metal parts, eliminating the need for further rinsing.

Techspray_Vapor-Degreaser.jpgBecause the solvents do not deplete the ozone, they are suitable replacements for cleaners containing Freon, HFC-141b and AK225. The company says that exposure to Precision-V solvents is less hazardous than exposure to many other commonly used types.

The Vapor-Degreaser Parts Cleaner and the Flux Remover have azeotropic properties that allow them to maintain stable properties as they are cycled in a vapor degreaser. They are not reactive to and they do not corrode metals commonly found in the construction of vapor degreasers.

Parts Cleaner removes oil, grease, silicone and other common industrial contaminants. Flux Removers clean R-, RA-, RMA- and SA-type flux residues after high temperature reflow, wave and hand-soldering. They are suitable for use in lead and lead-free processes.

The solvents have a lower boiling point than most other vapor-degreaser solvents, reducing heat stress on components being cleaned and decreasing energy consumption from the boil sump and chiller coils.
