Bioscience Tools has introduced a line of magnetic and screw-type miniature holders for use in microscopy. They are available in three standard configurations: MTH, for 3-D positioning of microtubing, probes and electrodes, extends up to 2 in.; MH-2, which can hold two accessories simultaneously, including glass micropipettes, can extend up to 3 in.; and MH-1, with an 8-mm footprint, which can extend to more than 1 in. Optional extension arms are available with the MTH and MH-1 configurations. The screw-type holders use standard threaded holes M3, M6 14-20 or 4-40, and they can be customized to fit nonstandard threads.
