ChemImage.jpgThe Falcon II chemical imaging system from ChemImage Corp. uses proprietary wide-field hyperspectral imaging platform technology to support up to five imaging techniques in one device. The system can be configured for any of 10 imaging modes, including Raman, NIR, cross-polarization and bright-field reflectance and transmittance. It supports either a 532- or 785-nm laser, with a spectral range of 200 to 4000 cm–1 and 200 to 3200 cm–1, respectively. Available objectives range from 100× to 1.25× water-immersion lenses, with 25- to 2000-mm illumination areas. The device has applications in molecular biology, biomedicine, biotechnology and forensics.
