Carl-Zeiss2.jpgCarl Zeiss MicroImaging Inc. has launched AxioVision Assaybuilder, a work flow-designed tool that delivers high content analysis to research microscopes. It permits object-based quantitative analyses of multichannel fluorescence and bright-field images with cross-channel referencing and hierarchical data output. Applied to motorized screening microscopes or to manual optical systems with digital imaging packages, it enables researchers to run measurement protocols on a large number of individual experiments. Images are acquired using basic AxioVision functions (Multichannel, MosaiX, Mark and Find, Deconvolution) or are imported from confocal microscopes and then analyzed in physiology, morphology, membrane, motility or cell cycle modules. Images and data are linked and automatically presented, allowing for rapid quality control. High content measurements can be targeted to specific subpopulations.
