Request InfoALPAO SASAlpao’s custom deformable mirrors are made of a continuous membrane that is deformed by a set of miniature voice-coil actuators. Large deformations are possible because there is no contact between the membrane and the coil array. The flexible technology enables the development of mirrors that suit customer requirements for drivers, bandwidth, pupil size, operating wavelength (coating), operating conditions (down to –40 °C), number and position of actuators (Cartesian or hexagonal array), and pitch between actuators (from 1.5 mm to a few millimeters).See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics Jan/Feb 2023 IssueZinc Selenide OpticsHigh-quality zinc selenide (ZnSe) lenses, output couplers, and mirrors from Laser Research Optics are optimized at 1.06 μm for medical laser OEMs. The devices are manufactured to...Photonics.com 9/5/2022Ultrafast Laser MirrorsLow-group-delay-dispersion (GDD) Ultrafast Laser Mirrors from Knight Optical Ltd. are used for high-performing ultrafast laser applications.
