Interspectrum.jpgInterspectrum OU has introduced the Interspec 407, a self-aligning modular Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) interferometer. With a wavelength range from 7000 to 400 cm–1 and spectral resolution of 4 cm–1, the module is designed for use inside spectroscopic systems. The device features a 25-mm collimated and modulated IR output beam, a multicoated potassium bromide beamsplitter, a high-intensity air-cooled IR source and an Arcnet interface. It measures 206 × 184 × 100 mm and operates from 15 to 28 °C.
