Bruker.jpgBruker AXS has launched its Smart X2S crystal-to-structure benchtop x-ray crystallography system for automated 3-D chemical structure determination. Designed to allow organic and inorganic chemists to produce atomic-resolution 3-D structures of routine samples without any specialized crystallography training, the system determines x-ray structure. From sample loading and alignment through data collection, the system analyzes the mathematical structure for users in academe as well as in biopharmaceutical and chemical companies. Weighing less than 70 kg, the instrument requires 0.5-kW single-phase AC power.
