The XLIN infrared linear InGaAs photodiode arrays with charge-amplifying multiplexers have been announced by XenICs. Also available mounted in the company’s Xeva-LIN digital camera, they feature high sensitivity, linearity, uniformity, stability and a wide dynamic range. They come with 128, 256 or 512 pixel counts and offer a readout rate of more than 9000 lines per second. A temperature sensor is built into the array. The models XLIN 1.7, 2.2 and 2.5 operate at 0.9 to 1.7 μm, up to 2.2 μm and up to 2.5 μm, respectively, and they enable thermal imaging of objects from 200 to 800°C. Applications include all aspects of near-IR spectroscopy and spectral characterization.
