nLight.jpgThe Pearl fiber-coupled laser from nLight Corp. is made of multiple high-power AuSn-bonded, facet-passivated, high-efficiency single emitters that are spatially combined into a single fiber core. With electrical-to-optical efficiency of >50%, the module is available with 50 W at 808 nm or with 5 W at 639 nm. The former operates at 6 A with a compliance voltage of 20 V and a standard wavelength tolerance of ±3 nm. The latter operates at 1.3 A with a compliance voltage of 21 V and a ±4-nm standard wavelength tolerance. Both models feature spectral width of <3 nm and detachable antireflection-coated 400-μm core fibers.
