MicronOptics.jpgThe ss225 swept laser modules from Micron Optics emit in the 1060-nm spectral region with a 2-mW average scanning power and external scan frequency of 8 kHz, while models emitting in the 1310- or 1550-nm spectral regions have an average scanning power of 8 mW. External optical triggers permit uniform frequency sampling and spectral calibration. With high brightness and a 50-dB signal-to-noise ratio, the devices are suitable for biomedical imaging applications.
