Kinetic Systems Inc. has announced its Vibralite series breadboards, which provide a stable surface with flatness of ±0.004 in. over a 24 × 24-in. area for laser mounting and assembly, small optical systems and inspection applications. The boards have a high natural frequency and nominal broadband damping. Economical, general-purpose, lightweight and honeycomb-core configurations with nonmagnetic and ferromagnetic surfaces and sizes up to 48 × 96 in. are available. Elastomeric feet are standard, but leg stands with 800-lb capacities adjustable to heights of 37 in. also can be purchased.
