PriorScientific.jpgThe ProScan II and PriorPCI2 stepper motor controllers from Prior Scientific Inc. now include several high-speed control features. All of the four available TTL inputs on the controllers can be configured to command the company’s focus motor to perform Z-stacks, change the position of its X-Y stage, change fluorescence filters on its filter wheels, open and close its shutters, and attenuate the light output of the Lumen 200Pro. According to the company, using TTL control methods eliminates serial communication delays, increasing throughput in applications such as high-throughput screening and multiple-position 3-D imaging.
