Tritor, an X-Y-Z piezoelectric-based nanopositioner from piezosystem jena GmbH, has been enhanced with the Tritor 340 Cap, which has a central aperture of 150 × 150 mm and which provides 390-μm open-loop and 280-μm closed-loop motion. Loads of up to 15 kg can be accommodated. Vacuum and nonmagnetic versions are available. The system is suitable for use in nanopositioning and microscanning applications that require subnanometer accuracy, a large aperture and a high load capacity.
