The PI nano series nanopositioning stages from PI (Physik Instrumente) LP feature a profile of 20 mm, a large aperture and ceramic-encapsulated piezo drives. A piezo controller is included, which has a 24-bit USB port, Ethernet, RS-232 and analog interfaces, as well as software support for all major image acquisition packages. An optional manual long travel stage with a motor upgrade option is available. The devices deliver accurate motion on two and three axes with subnanometer resolution and are suitable for scanning and alignment tasks in bionanotechnology.
