JAI.jpgThe TM-4200 progressive scan cameras from JAI Inc. feature 4-megapixel resolution (2048 × 2048) at 15 fps in dual-tap mode. Software-selectable single-tap mode is available at 8 fps. The devices incorporate Kodak’s 1.2-in. progressive scan IT CCD sensor (KAI-4021) to provide 12-bit linear images, or 10-bit/8-bit images with a programmable look-up table. They offer image center partial scan (1000, 500 or 250 lines) as well as 2 × 2 binning and user-programmable variable partial scan. Automatic channel balancing, defective-pixel compensation, full-frame shuttering up to 1/16,000s and asynchronous reset, no-delay pulse width control shuttering are among the devices’ features. The series includes monochrome and Bayer color filter array models with Camera Link or GigE Vision Gigabit Ethernet digital interfaces.
