The technology allows the entire spectrum to pass a single highly sensitive InGaAs detector that scans 2048 samples. The grating is an optical MEMS component that the company says provides precision and reliability. A single scan of the spectrum takes 10 ms or less. The SGS1900 is designed for online process analytics and as an OEM component.
