Hamamatsu Corp. is offering the C10413 radiation line sensor. The device is an x-ray and gamma radiation scanner that produces data for acquiring energy-differentiated color images based on as many as five energy thresholds. It has a 64-channel cadmium telluride detector array that converts radiation into electronic signals. The sensor measures energy from 30 to 1000 keV with a detection efficiency of 82% at 150 keV. Acquisition speeds per line range from 1 to 4000 ms. Applications include medical radiography.
