NIR_Technology.jpgThe Series 2000 near-IR transmission analyzer manufactured by NIR Technology Systems is a spectrophotometer suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, plastics, polymers, textiles, chemical and biofuel industries. The diode array spectrometer uses a selection of sample cells to collect near-IR transmission spectra through liquid, suspensions and emulsions. It scans from 720 to 1100 nm in transmission and transflectance modes. It is available as the base spectrometer and two application-specific analyzers. The Tablet Analyzer examines tablets for uniformity, coating thickness, active incipient and authentication. The Creams and Lotions Analyzer analyzes for moisture, lanolin, petroleum jelly, active components, alcohol, stabilizers and emulsifiers.
