GRIN_Tech.jpgGrintech GmbH has launched a series of gradient index (GRIN) objective lenses for endoscopic imaging optics. Made of a nontoxic silver-based glass material, the lenses have plane surfaces and low chromatic aberration. Aperture and field stops are available upon request. Diameters are from 2.0 to 0.25 mm, and users may choose standard working distances from 5 mm to infinity and standard lens lengths from 0.56 to 6.64 mm. Several other options allow users to customize the lenses for their specific needs. Each lens in the line is available with or without antireflection coating. The objective lenses can be combined with?GRIN relay lenses by gluing the optical surface planes together, and prisms for changing the direction of view also can be glued onto the front surface of the objective lens.
