HeadwallPhotonics.jpgThe Hyperspec-SWIR sensor from Headwall Photonics Inc. performs hyperspectral imaging in the IR region from 1000 to 2500 nm with spectral resolution of 10 to 15 nm and spectral dispersion of 7.6 nm/pixel. It is built on a reflective concentric f/2 optical design and has holographic gratings that provide very low stray light and high signal-to-noise capabilities. It also uses proprietary and patented aberration-corrected optics that allow for distortion-free imaging, and tall image slits provide wide fields of view. It is suitable for 3-D chemical imaging, pharmaceutical product development, and life science and plant research applications.
