Toptica Photonics AG has introduced the TA-SHG 110, a CW frequency-doubled laser that emits UV light. It is based on proprietary tapered amplifiers, it achieves frequency doubling via a resonant enhancement cavity in bow-tie configuration, and it uses an external cavity diode laser. Tunable between 329 and 336 nm, it can operate at >100 mW and is spatially and spectrally single-mode. It can be used for Raman spectroscopy, gas analysis and interferometry.
