It consists of an optical bench, a flow cell, signal processing electronics and a low-voltage power supply. The device can be used for rapid screening, online process control monitoring, identification of an unknown by specific rotation, simplification of a complex chiral analysis and the determination of an enantiomeric ratio without requiring a chiral separation.
