Molecular Devices LLCRequest Info
Molecular Devices Corp. has announced the SpectraMax L, a microplate luminometer designed for flash and for glow luminescence assays. Suitable for life sciences research as well as for diagnostic assays, the instrument features an optical system that, according to the company, provides increased sensitivity and dynamic range. The system has an ultrafast photon-counting technology that enables a high signal-to-noise ratio and crosstalk as low as <10–6 in white 96-well plates. It includes a dual-injector module that operates with 96- and 384-well plates, an automated injector-maintenance routine and proprietary SoftMax Pro GxP data analysis software for Windows or Macintosh computers. It can read plates in landscape or portrait position and, with the optional StakMax stacker, can process up to 50 plates automatically.
