WorldstarTechnologies.jpgWorld Star Technologies Inc. has introduced the TECBL series of diode-pumped, 473-nm blue laser modules suitable for DNA sequencing, flow cytometry, digital imaging and particle counting. These compact, thermoelectrically cooled lasers operate in single longitudinal mode and are available in powers up to 30 mW. They measure 40 × 40 × 140 mm and have a controller dimension of 69 × 25 × 153 mm. Beam divergence is less than 1 mrad, polarization is more than 300:1 vertical, and power stability is less than 1%. They are suitable for integration into benchtop bioinstrumentation.
