FIBER OPTIC PROBE

InPhotonics Inc.'s Raman fiber optic probe was designed for reaction monitoring applications. The Process RamanProbe's removable adapter and 10 x 3/8-in. stainless steel sleeve are secured to the probe's body. The sleeves have brazed sapphire windows and can withstand high temperatures and pressures as well as many chemical environments. According to the company, the probe has efficient filtering (optical density >8) that provides background-free Raman spectra.
