Navitar.jpgFor use with full-frame 11- and 16-megapixel sensors, Navitar Inc. has announced its 50-mm large-format machine vision lens. The Raptar lens covers a 43-mm-diagonal sensor with a field of view of 50 mm and a focusing range from 0.5 m to infinity. Features include a manual iris and focus control with positive single-point focus and iris locks. Lens aperture range is from f/2 to f/22, and angular field is 46° diagonal and 37° horizontal. The lens is supplied with an F-bayonet, with M42 and C-mount available as options. Applications include veterinarian digital x-ray, food and plastics sorting and inspection, and inspection of film, paper and plastics defects.
