The device offers a digital CCD readout of 150 fps and photon counting acquisition with a dynamic range of more than five orders of magnitude. According to the company, these abilities have given the C10627 an acquisition time that is 50 times faster than that of the previous model. The camera has applications in the semiconductor, photophysics and biology fields.
