Nutec.jpgCLS, a sealing system manufactured by Nutec Components Inc., protects the company’s stages in applications in contaminated environments, resulting in a motion platform with greater long-term reliability and higher efficiency. The patented design includes a concealed linear seal under the three-sided stainless steel top cover to keep out solid debris, airborne particles and fluids. Travel ranges from 100 to 1200 mm, load capacities are up to 500 kg, and speed is up to 2 m/s. Features include various accuracy grades, linear encoders to 50-nm resolution, an all ground-up metric design, high-force linear brushless servomotor drives, ball screw drives with in-line or fold-back brushless servomotors, and X-Y table assembly from 3- to 60-arcsec orthogonality.
