RigakuInstrument.jpgThe Rigaku NEX CG is a benchtop energy-dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectrometer for nondestructive qualitative and quantitative analysis of major and minor atomic elements in solids, liquids, powders and thin films. Using polarized excitation, and in tandem with the proprietary UltraCarry sample holder, it provides parts-per-billion detection limits for aqueous solutions. The instrument’s EZ Analysis software permits routine operation by nontechnical personnel. It is suitable for research, industrial and in-plant monitoring applications.
