Hybrid Microplate Reader
BioTek Instruments Inc. has expanded its Synergy multimode microplate reader family with the release of the patent-pending Synergy H4 with hybrid technology. The newest model combines the sensitivity of filter-based optics with the flexibility of monochromator-based optics in a compact instrument for fluorescence-based applications.Biotek_HybridMicroplate.jpg

Its filter and dichroic-based fluorescence optics feature offers light filtering and purification with fast wavelength switching and readout speeds suitable for TR-FRET, fluorescence polarization or AlphaScreen and AlphaLISA applications. Providing the flexibility to choose any wavelength from the UV to the near-infrared, its quadruple monochromator-based fluorescence optics is ideal for spectral scanning applications. Its top and bottom optics also enhance assay flexibility.

The modular device features fully equipped configuration and it is compatible with the company’s Take3 multivolume plate for low-volume measurements down to 2 µL.
