Dominant Semiconductors Sdn Bhd’s newest LED product series, Primax, is designed to provide high-intensity light output in a compact package optimized for applications where space is at a premium. To meet the market demand, the company is now extending the white series with a two-chip version, the NCWW-FSG.

With its high flux output and luminous intensity, the LED’s operating current is 80 mA, and typical luminous intensity is 15,000 millicandela (37.5 lm). Because of its enhanced resin mixture for encapsulation, lifetime is up to 50,000 h. The package features an electrically isolated heat sink that allows optimal heat dissipation. With the company’s new definition of the color bins as well as flux binning, this white LED provides good homogeneity in illumination, especially for highly sophisticated lighting solutions.

It measures 3.5 × 3.5 × 1.29 mm and produces high intensity and efficiency, rendering it suitable for general lighting applications, LED bulbs and channel lighting projects.
