DILAS Diodenlaser GmbHMAINZ, Germany, Feb. 22, 2010 – Dilas is delivering new conduction-cooled, multibar laser modules with a homogeneous top hat optical beam profile, capable of handling up to 500-W output in standard wavelengths. The homogenized conduction-cooled, multibar modules are based on proprietary micro-optics beam shaping technology. By using this concept, the company obtains a 95% homogenized intensity profile. The spot geometries can vary from line sources measuring 12 mm × 300 µm to an area with 52 × 2 mm2. Customized focus geometries are also possible.
