RONKONKOMA, N.Y., March 24, 2010 – UltraVolt Inc. has announced The BT series AC/DC turnkey benchtop high-voltage power systems that offer flexible output voltages and polarity. Each system houses a high-voltage power supply from the company’s microsize/micropower product line (the XS, US, V, M or D Series) and operates in local or remote mode.

Features include a clear output voltage display, power grid input, positive or negative polarity, tight line/load regulation, low ripple, good stability, overload protection and an optional shielded output cable. The systems are suitable for use by design engineers in research and laboratory fields with applications such as photomultiplier tubes, photodiodes, high-voltage testing and avalanche photodiodes.

Users can operate them as single units, stacked side-by-side or one-on-one for as many outputs as needed. The systems are single-channel and have output voltages from 0 to 100 V at up to 6 kV. Power levels range from 0 to 100 mW up to 0 to 6 W. Input voltage is a universal 85-264 VAC.
