Request InfoHamamatsu CorporationHamamatsu Corp. has a family of emitter/receiver modules that operate at data rates of 2.5 Gb/s in optical fiber communications, HDTV and SDH data link applications. Combined, the two modules enable high-speed optical fiber communication with low noise and wide dynamic range. Several versions are available, each for a specific communications application. Receiver modules have Si photodiodes for operation at 0.8 µm, or InGaAs photodiodes for operation at 1.3 or 1.55 µm. Emitter modules consist of a high-speed Fabry-Perot laser diode optimized for 0.3-µm wavelength operation.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra February 2023 IssueDual-Port Test SolutionThe FTBx-88480 dual-port test solution from EXFO Inc. enhances technician productivity for fiber optic transmission rates from 1 to 400 G.
