Maxmat SA has announced the Maxmat PL II, a multidisciplinary analyzer for testing in clinical chemistry, coagulation, immunochemistry and ELISA. Suitable for scientific research, the tool can create unlimited complex assay protocols. It includes microplate or strips reaction support and a flexible spectrophotometer optical system that operates from 340 to 700 nm. It delivers real-time reaction curves, handling linear and nonlinear calibrations, and it allows graphical representation of performance and automatic statistics calculation. The compact instrument features a bar-code reader, Westgard rules, low reagent consumption and LIS connection. Additionally, it can coagulate up to 70 prothrombin time per hour and delivers 280 tests per hour with ISE.
