OLCHING, Germany, April 30, 2010 — Laser Components GmbH has extended its product offering to include BWT Beijing Inc.’s fiber-coupled high power laser diodes at 635 to 690 nm.

The device features alignment of the 3 to 375 µm fibers, allowing for maximum optical and electronic performance. Additionally, it delivers longterm stability, coupling efficiency and good beam performance, said the company.

Its metal housing is equipped with a thermoelectric cooler, a thermistor and a photodiode, depending on the model.

It is suitable for use in medical technology, material processing, illumination technology and laser pumping applications.
