A high-intensity RGB LED ringlight that produces single red illumination of 592 nm, single green illumination of 520 to 535 nm and blue illumination of 464 to 475 nm has been released by klughammer industrie gmbh. The ringlight provides intense, shadow-free and homogeneous illumination suitable for exciting biological and materials science specimens in fluorescence. The colored LEDs may be switched on and off independently. Singular intensity control is possible with all three wavelengths, and the three can be merged to yield mixed variations.
