Kinetic Systems Inc. has announced five basic performance levels for its vibration-damping optical tables, each customizable for a specific application. The tables provide flat, stiff and highly damped surfaces with high natural frequencies. They are Class 100 cleanroom-compatible, with Class 10 also available, and come in sizes up to 6 x 20 in. and in thicknesses up to 36 in. The 5300 series has maximum dynamic deflection and relative motion and features quad-tuned plus broadband damping with both rigidity and stability. Also offered are the research-grade 5200, the laboratory-grade 5100T, the utility-grade 5100H and the economy-grade 5100 series.
