Suitable for working with lasers on small areas in medical or micromachining applications, binocular magnifiers with laser protective filters have been introduced by LaserVision GmbH. The binoculars have magnifying loupes equipped with extra laser protective filters that block radiation before it can enter the loupe. The eyewear consists of multiple coatings for reduced light reflection and helps create a bright picture. It weighs less than 80 g, is dust- and waterproof, and is easy to clean and disinfect.
