HD Camera Recording System
SECAUCUS, N.J., July 30, 2010 — Panasonic System Networks Company of America continues to expand its offering of imaging solutions designed for medical operating rooms with the introduction of an integrated high-definition (HD) camera recording system that can record up to 12 h of HD images on a single 32-GB card, providing portability and facilitating transferal of recorded images and data.
From acquisition to archiving, the system makes it easy for medical professionals to benefit from high-definition imaging technology in the operating room and beyond. It meets the demands of sensitive procedures with next-generation functionality and efficiency.
The system’s AG-MDC10 HD camera head is designed with three newly developed MOS ¼-in. image sensors that provide independent RGB color processing, high-clarity detail and color accuracy at full 1920 × 1080-pixel resolution. For added image acquisition precision, the camera is equipped with a built-in 10× digital zoom and an attached 12× zoom lens with optical image stabilization. The camera’s pre-set shutter speed can be adjusted to either synchro scan or slow speed.
The AG-MDR15 memory card portable HD recorder features H.264 digital recording on SDHC memory cards. Stored images can be easily transferred to hard disk drives or optical disks, or played back on compatible Blu-Ray Disc players or PCs. Remote operation of the camera (zoom and focus) is enabled through the portable recorder, and there is an input for an optional foot switch for start/stop operation. Two-channel Dolby digital audio ensures clear sound reproduction of any audio recording.
The compact system is UL 60601-1-compliant and is under registration for EN 60601-1 compliance.
