Matrox Imaging has released lower-cost models
of its Solios single-camera frame grabber, featuring acquisition speeds of up to
66 to 85 MHz and a 64-MB acquisition buffer. The XCL-B and XCL-F support a single
Base Camera Link camera and up to a single Full Camera Link camera, respectively.
The XCL-F also is available with an optional field-programmable gate array processing
core and PCI Express, which allows users to upgrade to next-generation PCs. The
cameras can reconstruct images from multitap cameras.
