Request InfoFiberLogix International Ltd.A line of polyimide-coated optical fibers has been introduced by FiberLogix Ltd. The fibers are suited for use in applications where high strength and low bending loss are required, such as strain, health and pressure monitoring in structural, geophysical and medical sensing. The company uses two proprietary polymers to form dual layers: The soft inner layer material protects the fiber from microbend forces, and the thin outer layer provides abrasion resistance and minimizes friction. The fibers operate from —65 to 400 °C, with long term operation at 360 °C in harsh environments.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra July 2022 IssueFluorescence Filter SetKnight Optical LLC’s fluorescence filter set range suits the diverse needs of various fluorescence applications that demand high-quality components.
