lDRIVERDirected Energy Inc.'s PCO-7110, a metal-oxide semiconductor field- effect transistor-based laser diode driver module, features an integrated current monitor and integrated mounting pads for directly mounting to the driver laser diodes in TO-18, -5, -52 cans and 5.6- and 9-mm packages. It is designed to provide high-current nanosecond pulses to drive laser diodes in rangefinder, lidar and atmospheric applications. The five standard models provide pulse currents ranging from 4 to 120 A and pulse widths from 4 to 65 ns at frequencies up to 50 kHz. Custom pulse width and output current configurations are available for OEM applications.
