Power Technology Inc. announced the release of its new LCS-DTL-300 series of diode-pumped, solid-state laboratory lasers. At 532 nm, the 300 line offers twice the power of the company's LCS-DTL-200 series; at 1064 nm, the 300 series lasers are twice as powerful as the 200s. Every model in the 300 series includes active temperature stabilization, benchtop operation, and all CDRH safety features. Power Technology also noted that the 300 series includes a front panel digital power meter to allow for easy monitoring of output power.

The 300 series includes six models of CW lasers -- one of which is available only outside the US -- and two models of AOM Q-switched lasers.
