Nanomotion Inc. presents the R150 rotary stage
for use in biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. The technology uses a proprietary
ceramic servomotor based on ultrasonic standing waves for precision motion control
and automation systems. The 150-mm-diameter direct-drive rotary is provided with
either two or four HR2 motors operating with a 40-mm ceramic ring. Providing maximum
velocity to 120 rpm and maximum force to 0.65 newton meter, the stage also offers
continuous travel with encoder resolutions ranging from 19 to 3 μrad.
